the OG volunteer trip
The Itinerary:​
​Our most budget friendly, and our original, itinerary. A 5 day, 4 night stay that combines the best excursions on the east coast (trust us) with daily volunteering. If this is your first Volunteer Trip with Moyo Village, you won't want to miss this itinerary! Volunteers on this itinerary must have hiking experience.

Thursday - airport pick-ups, grocery shopping

Friday - 5 mi round trip hike in El Yunque National Forest (one way uphill), lunch, volunteer at partner rescue

Saturday - snorkel with sea turtles, lunch, volunteer at partner rescue

Sunday - volunteer at partner rescue, lunch, adventure to a secret waterfall (a short, but difficult hike)

Monday - airport drop-offs

The Lodging:
Volunteers will stay in our 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom guest house located in the heart of Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Note, regardless of the room option, all bathrooms are shared.

The Itinerary:​
​​A 5 day, 4 night stay that combines the best water-based excursions with daily volunteering. The perfect itinerary for those who have already joined us on an OG itinerary in the past, or who want more time in the water and less time hiking.

Thursday - airport pick-ups, grocery shopping

Friday - rope swing, slide, and swim at a local waterfall, lunch, volunteer on a local sato feeding route

Saturday - discover petroglyphs at a local swimming hole, lunch, volunteer at partner rescue

Sunday - volunteer at partner rescue, lunch, island hop & snorkel on an afternoon private boat charter

west coast road trip
The Itinerary:​
​​​A 6 day, 5 night stay that combines the best West Coast sites with daily volunteering. The perfect itinerary for those who have already joined us on an OG itinerary in the past, or who love jam-packed road trips!

Wednesday - airport pick-ups

Thursday - take in the views at los siete arcos, lunch, volunteer with partner organization
-
Friday - optional morning yoga, snorkel at a local marine reserve, lunch / free time to explore rincon, volunteer with partner rescue
-
Saturday - visit the pink salt flats & take in cliffside views in cabo rojo, lunch, volunteer at partner rescue
-
Sunday - kayak through crystal clear mangrove islands, lunch, visit the famous painted houses in yauco, volunteer on a local sato feeding route

Monday - airport drop-offs

The Lodging:
Volunteers will stay 1 night in our 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom guest house located in the heart of Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, and then will head out on a road trip towards the West Coast. The remaining days lodging will be with one of our partner guest houses. Pack light, as we may switch houses more than once!

custom trips
The Itinerary:​
​​​Your choice! Our custom trips are perfect for leaders who want to co-host a trip (i.e. yoga teachers who want to lead a retreat with an impact and content creators who want to travel with their followers) or for families who want to bring children under the age of 18. A minimum of 4 volunteers are required to book a custom trip. Choose from a 4, 5, or 6 night stay. Some excursions will have an additional cost.
